Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggg so I'm gonna be at Ozine Fest after all. But I'm just going to be taking photos for my friends, well at least they bought the plane ticket for me. :) Lucky me 5ever

it's not like that's bad or anything since that's just how AKG designs their stuff, but I thought it was a bit funny because XXYYXX to bass is like fat kids to chocolate pudding and I can imagine they might be similar to my AD700's where you can hear the bass but the impact is much limited. If anything I would be more disappointed with Holo, because from what I've learned if anyone says something is "fine" it's definitely not fine.

 

His songs along with a few others like these were totally unplayable in my car before I was able to get a potentiometer to drop the low end from what I considered to already be a fairly balanced sound. Maybe they sound better because the FQR of the AKG's naturally tame that mountain of bass.

 

 

 

What's your evidence for that? Endless Eight? Free? Frankly I think they're one of the most risk-averse studios, judging by their anime line-up. What am I missing?

The stunt they pulled in Amagi is what I still remember. I (obviously) haven't seen all or even 1/4 of Kyoani but from what I've gathered they do seem to be slightly more adventurous than the average Nintendo.

 

I should add that I mean specifically left-fielding with the amount of skin in the first episode. In reality it was pretty low risk (more of a calculated PR stunt) but still worked brilliantly because I could not escape that shit on the internet, so hyped before I downloaded it I could have given a synopsis without consulting professor Google. I thought that was pretty neat because in all my years of internet I've never seen something dominate so quickly with such little effort.

 

perhaps another case of kyoani finds a way, admittedly maybe I haven't seen enough to consider other studios (or have associated them yet)

Yupp they tame the bass to certain levels but at some point they deliver flat. Still enjoyable but those can's aren't bassheads indead. Like that level of static.

WAVE Also makes some pretty awesome stuff. I didn't expect WAVE to make stuff this good.

4 Hour Orchestral mix(Not particularly fond of the beginning with the vocals but it gets better later 2nd song and onwards.)

I take it your enjoying your dive into Touhou's musical compositions and fan remixes. The quality of the content created is A Grade....

All the Touhou music I know is from playing osu. This became a favorite cause of the beat map for it has well spaced jumps and triples.

I have not really messed with the media keys but I can program them onto my keyboard. The ones that are fully programmable you can remove some things you don't need add media keys or make layers with them.

I'm sure @TheProfosist and myself can help you with things when you start to really think about it
