What're your current specs? A corsair AIO is rarely a good option when you've got arctic and an air cooler like the thermalright PA120SE is so much better value that Corsair, especially their iCUE link, makes no sense

Without specs, it's hard to give advice. It would also help to have photos of your computer's insides, and which AIOs you're considering.

Unless you're running a really hot CPU, though, such as the Intel i7/9 12th/13th/14th gen, you don't need an AIO.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

I have the intel core i5 12600k

And cooling that is the cooler master 212 spectrum v3

i really only want and AIO for it being quieter and it looking nicer in the case that I’m buying (lian li 011 mini)

also how would I plug in multiple fans if there’s only one argb header on my motherboard

You can daisy-chain the fans together, or use an ARGB splitter, controller or hub.

Which AIOs are you interested in?

Ok. The H150i is a good AIO, although a bit louder than some people want, and it isn't the best (or the worst) AIO. At normal MSRP, it's overpriced IMHO. Then again, many AIOs are overpriced.

So what questions did you have?

Yes, please look at the reviews for Intel on KitGuru.com or their YT channel KitGuruTech. The Intel list is far shorter than the AMD list, though, but the link will show you some top-performing ones for your Intel.

It is POSSIBLE that, if you get the LGA1700 BCF, that might make the ones that work well on AMD do better on your 12700k. However, I have no way of verifying that. In other words, I'm speculating - and quite possibly wrong, especially given that although Arctic produced a custom mount for Intel, it performs MUCH worse on Intel than AMD (see link). There are other reviewers out there that have ranking charts, so please do some searching.

No worries - there's a lot to learn about tech, and it's constantly changing. This.

Well, if your purpose in getting an AIO is for the looks, I would get whatever you think is attractive and you can afford. There are definitely cheaper choices that aren't refurbished, like Thermalright's line (especially the Frozen Notte and the Frozen Magic Scenic V2, which are very performant), and then there are the Lian Li Galahad 2 Trinity Performance, the DeepCool LS720, LT720 and Mystique, SilverStone IceMyst, Endorfy Navis F280 & F360, and a range of others. If you look for comparative reviews on an Intel 12th-14th gen CPU, that should give more ideas.

Sweet also just for fun would there be any options that have a lcd screen

it doesn’t make sense spending more just for a screen but I might be willing to do it

If you want to spend a lot more and get performance, it'll cost you. If you don't care about performance and just want LEDs and an LCD screen, it won't be too terribly expensive, but I could be wrong.

I don't really pay attention to LCD screens as I think they're largely unnecessary except for bragging rights and testers, and some LCDs aren't even worth it for testers. Sorry, I can't make specific recommendations. You might want to add that to your original message and then wait a day or two to see if anyone responds. If that doesn't help, start a new thread after that asking about AIOs with LCD.
