What is VDG cable?

Hey guys, i got a VDG cable in my case, and i got a gigabyte ab350m gaming 3 motherboard, do i plug it anywhere or what? and whats the purpose of VDG? Can i control the fan speed with it or what? I got a case w rgb fans, and they are connected to a psu and rgb controller, do i have to buy an additional adaptor to control the speed of the fans?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. voltage data ground. its an older argb header.
