From what we've heard DDR5 is currently not in production and all current units are sold out everywhere. One company said they were doing another production run this year of 300 units for the entire world.

 

The only place you can buy them right now is the used/scalper market. You are not going to see them in stores until sometime next year.

 

I was watching the stock at my microcenter on Nov 4 and all the higher ends kits were going fast. By the time I got there I was lucky to snag a pair of Crucial kits before they all sold out too.
