how do i compile a Minecraft plugin

hi i'm working on a Minecraft server and i want to try and compile the jetminions  but i have never done it before.

why would you compile it, just use the file they have compiled

You don't need to compile it, look under the "Releases" on the right hand side. That is where you find release compiles already done by the developer on GitHub.
