Looks pretty reasonable. You can probably save about $100 on the motherboard if you go with a decent B550 board.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!

Great build!

For video editing maybe get a B550 motherboard (unless you want to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 down the line) and more RAM, like 32 Gb.

You can upgrade to Ryzen 9 on a B550 board.

Well, deppends, if you want to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 down the line, you are going to want a beefy VRM solution. I could give you some ideas of motherboards that looks like could handle a Ryzen 9 for less than 150$, like:
https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-b550-gaming-x/p/N82E16813145212?quicklink=true
https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-b550m-aorus-pro/p/N82E16813145213?quicklink=true
https://www.newegg.com/asrock-b550-steel-legend/p/N82E16813157937
https://www.newegg.com/msi-mag-b550-tomahawk/p/N82E16813144326
BUT, don't take my word on this. Take a closer look on all the motherboards that you are really interested to buy.

Well, yeah, but always careful. Even if a motherboard looks like it could hold up agains a Ryzen 9, it could have been built with a lot of poor VRMs. Gamer Nexus or Hardware Unboxed are the common YT channels that make those reviews. However, those B550 (at or above 100$) looks pretty strong, so I agree with you overall.

At that budget, I would recommend at least going 8 cores to give your system better longevity for future games. And for only ~$60 more I think it's totally worth it

Got you a more ram 2x16GB for the same price as expensive trident Z

Switched out the case, cause nzxt is a hot box

oh sorry, that was the airflow version, that one is fine. Just consider the one there an alternative.

Tried to keep the white theme you had going as well

You can also consider 12600k/12700k with a DDR4 z690 board

Decent upgrade, cut some costs

12600k, theres still room for a 12700k but better off using the leftover 500$ for a 3080

Cheaper aio cause cheap

32gb 4000 cl18, should be enough for your vid editing

Ditched the hdd entirely and went full ssd storage with a 2tb z330

Upgraded case to p400a digital cause nzxt cases are garbage cause no f ing airflow

You could actually get a 1000w supernove g6 for the same price but if you only need the asthetic balue of the psu then just leave the 850w in

Ditched all the fans cause uneccesary, but if you want ring rgb fans then buy some p120 bionix instead of some sad overpriced nzxt fans that lose to noctua fans, p120 has equivalent performance to noctua fans but its cheaper and has rgbs

Now theres 500$ left, you can upgrade the gpu to a 3080 or the cpu to a 12700k

They picked the 510 FLOW, not the regular 510. It's still not as good as other cases, especially at that price, but much better than you think it is.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Oh

Well its literally just an h510 with a drilled front panel and nothing else, also no rgb fans included so op gonna have to buy rgb fans, id not suggest an h510 flow cause overpriced, maybe go for a meshify c instead

You should always do your research. I would add Buildzoid (Actual Hardware Overclocking) and Der8auer for some of the best info on VRM's and board breakdowns. He (Buildzoid) also does videos with GN.

If the op wants Asus then something like a B550-F or B550 TUF would be my suggestion. Or as mentioned above, he should also consider AlderLake.
