So, a Ryzen 9 5900x is 105 wats as said on AMD's site & I found this, so just reading that, it seems that cooler is enough. It is not though is it? They need a better system.

be quiet! Shadow Rock LP, BK002, 130W TDP, CPU Cooler, Low Profile

why do you want a low profile cooler?

I cpu like that would be nice in a HTPC/Small case.

Those numbers are meaningless. The equation to determine tdp has variables intel/amd can play with to get the desired tdp as explained by Steve over at Gamers Nexus

Spoiler

5900x stock can draw near 190w with typical loads around 130w (per reviews I polled). Would recommend a 83C temp limit and undervolting (or setting W limit in pbo, 105-115 iirc for the sweet spot)

Each manufacturer has their own system of calculating tdp including AMD and Intel.

The SRLP may be adequate for stock speeds or with an undervolt but an AIO is often better for SFF when cooling a powerful cpu like the 5900x.

What CPUs (AMD) will that cool sufficiently with the CPU as is? Plus what cooler that will fit in the SG05 & cool that CPU?

It should be fine with the 5600x with a bit of boosting. Anything heavier like the 5800x / 5900x should be fine at stock speeds but would have little room if any for boosting.

The SG05 lists 82mm of clearance for a cooler. That's not much for a beefy air cooler. I'd recommend an AIO liquid cooler. Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

Just thiking about when I upgrade in the future, not shopping. It sucks the 5900x/50x need a 6 incj tall cooled be awesome to have a killer chip like that in a SG05, Lian Li PC-TU100 Mini ITX Case would work so maybe that. Water cooling is scarey for me, leaks & more can go wrong.

105w is a joke. I have seen it idle at 65w at the wall, and I have seen over 215w ppt with just pbo enabled. 260w with manual tuning. Get a better cooler your 5900 will thank you.

Yes, the Fuma2 is a good one. Man I want a SG05 with the psu on the side instead of over the MB.

Its not a cooler I would buy, but it should be ok.
