Is 60htz Allways Very Laggy And Blurry in Any Game

LocalNightOwl
Go to solution Solved by Stahlmann,

You're probably just so used to 165Hz that 60Hz feels sluggish now. I'm in the same boat. Playing any 60Hz game feels extremely laggy and sluggish on my 200Hz G-Sync monitor, but on my OLED TV it's still very playable. But that's on OLED's amazing response times no matter what Hz.

Hello Guys I Have recent ran into a problem with my 165htz Monitor and due to it have it a cracked screen I am currently having to use a Samsung 32inch LC32F391FWNXZA For The next Little While Till I ether get my MSI Optix G27C5 Fixed or till I can get a new one now from what I have been dealing with is I’m getting a lot of laggy ness in pretty much every game I load up like Forza Horizon 4 Overwatch Call Of Duty I Even Tried Like Sims Like Cities Skylines Battletech And StarCraft 2 my bad through a few strats in the mix and I have even gone as far as to loading up some older games like gothic 1 an 2 gta 3 Vice City And SAN Andreas I am really struggling with this I have gone through the monitors settings tryed turning the response time from fast to faster and even to standard no luck it’s really bothering and I am just curious as to what is causing this to happen and if there is anything I can do or have I just been forever changed from playing on a 165htz And Now 60 seems bad I tryed even having Vsync Off But it makes it worse and I even tryed it on which never worked ether and I have even tryed Fast sync on still no go if you guys can help me that would be fantastic cause of of rn I can’t stand playing games on my pc right now

Is there a punctuation shortage where you are? 😄

Tried looking up the monitor specs, it seems to have a "game mode" - have you tried that? FastSync in GPU settings might help in theory although I've never really used it myself.

Otherwise, maybe you are just used to 165 Hz. Did you actually run games at 165fps though? Certainly there is a noticeable difference between say 60 and even 85-ish, but 60 should still be good for most games apart from those requiring the fastest of responses.

Heyy and my apologize for not haveeiingg punctuation I’m not the greatest at typing 😂 and I have tryed game mode and it does not work or really do anything but change the colours and free sync is a no go due to me having a nvidia card and with the Samsung monitor I have has a first Edtion of free sync so it does not even pop up when plug into my card and I have tried running games past 60htz 60 FPS but it seems to get even worse I have tried going past 60 with no sync and fast sync so sadly I’m at a loss rn 😢😊 and agian sorry for no punctuation I’m not good at typing but maybe it’s a Canadian thing idk haha 😂😂

the weird modes on samsung tvs will still lag/ghost for games, it's worse for games that go side to side quickly. (fps/racing)

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
