blown up 1080 ti

MustardBate

I have one dead GPU on me and I don't know if the blown up thing is the only issue. I have a 1080ti Gainward Gold sample that is not working at all.

Are there ways to check if this is the reason why it is not turning on? Also can it be fixed?

That component looks like a zero ohm resistor, in other words a wire link to bridge the spot where an inductor was not used. Maybe it degraded, heated and failed. It should be easy to replace for anyone with the right tools. If that by itself is sufficient to get it working is impossible to tell. Can only try and see what happens.

It definetely can be fixed by replacing that component, but just be careful when soldering these kinds of things. Be careful to not solder together anything else by accident.
