3080ti partner model reviews

I have not seen any good MSI gaming x trio 3080ti reviews, only ones for the 3080 version.

 

What is the general opinion on that model?

With the current graphics card market, the consensus on every model of every card is "if you can buy it, it's good enough".

 

MSI's gaming X trio is fine. Expect it to be relatively similar in performance and noise level to all the other 3 fan triple slot cards.

That's the one I have!
Im very happy with it.
I use it to game on a 49" LG NanoCell TV to game, I lock my FPS at 120
No Problems with MW2019,Cold War or any BF title.
Generally I have it slightly OC'ed with the Power Limit set to 108% and the temps never go over 63c

Farcry6 also looks and performs great.

I have a 3080 ti Gaming X Trio and a Gaming X Trio 3090. 

 

I consider them conservative so if you want an overclocker get a EVGA FTW3 Ultra or a ASUS ROG Strix. They are 450 watt cards and the MSI is a 380 watt card.

Since it is conservatives it has non of the issues that some cards have with vram temps but it does need adequate cooling.  

 

It also does exactly the same frames as the 3090 version so if you don't need the vram you are not missing out. 

 

Would I buy again?

I did. I got the 3090 first and was so impressed with the build quality and the vram temps that when an auto notify came up for the 3080 ti version I went for it.

Thanks for all your comments? Amazon has not been kind on me sadly, delaying shipment multiple times for the Aorus Master I ordered, so I decided to see if an alternative brand order would make it through.
