Some websites have trouble loading

Donneh

Hey everyone,

I'm experiencing some issues with my internet these last couple of weeks. Some websites do not load correctly, either very slow or not at all. After many refreshes it will work, but there are also times that it works from the first try. I'm only experiencing this on some specific websites, like razerzone.com, logitech.com, lolesports.com. It also happens on some desktop programs, like the league of legends client and mobalytics.

These problems occurs on both our desktop computers.

Computer 1
Windows 11
Asus ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming
I9-9900k

Computer 2
Windows 10
Asus ROG Strix B550-I Gaming
AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Things i've tried

  • Using different webbrowsers (firefox, chromium edge, chrome)
  • Disabling adblock and all other browser extensions.
  • Rebooting the router/modem
  • I've contacted our internetprovider, but they told me they couldn't help

When looking at the devtools console i've noticed that it often says "Cross origin request blocked".

The network tab shows that loading is stalled:

I know it's all very vague, but i hope someone can help me out!

that looks good, its why your isp tells you they can't do anything,  its all they do , check connection, and that looks fine.

Do a full malwarebytes scan (there's a free trial version)

I've done the full scan and it shows no threats!

Sounds like your internet connection is not stable

Have you tried to ping Google all day long while using your PC?

Go to start

Type

Cmd

Open cmd

Type into the new window

Ping google.de -t

That will ping Google endlessly. Now we use a new cmd to ping your router.

Should be something like

Ping 192.168.178.1 -t

Or if you got a Fritz box

Ping fritz.box -t

Use your pc normal, and the moment you got that weird behaviour check the 2 command lines if they act weird

To router 1 ms is good

To Google everything under 50 I would say.

We are looking for those spikes like over 1000 or not reachable

You are awesome, stay safe and healthy.

I have been running the command today and it doesn't show any weird results.

I pinged google.nl instead of .de, but I guess that shouldn't matter.

I figured out that disabling IPv6 like in the attached screenshot fixed the problem!

I'd still like to found out how it suddenly became an issue and if it's possible to make it work again.

That was an very very old issue.

I am glad you solved it and report how to solve it.

Please don't forget to mark it as solved
