Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219V

So my Ethernet randomly stopped working as in having error code 10 unable to start. What I've noticed it started failing ever since the driver got the (2) in the name. The port is powered when I plug the cable in it lights up direct into the Mobo Asus Z370 Plus Gaming apparently it's common but no fix is available around. So please has anyone faced this? 

I've tried downloading the driver from the Asus site installed the most recent driver, did a bios update to the current version, did a clean windows install, uninstalled the driver and reinstalled. Even went back and tried a few older drivers just incase. I even renamed the driver without the (2) next I'll try to get a USB ethernet adapter and see if that works any other things I could try? I really need to use my lan connection.
