Does Bluetooth speaker has audio delay issue?

Vayne778

So I can't use wired speakers...so the only choice is Bluetooth speaker...does it have noticeable delay issue? If it's not noticeable then I don't mind... I'm think Logitech z337... anyone have used that speaker? I'm planning to use it for watching movie, gaming, music

Depends on the speaker and the game. Good bluetooth will have about 50 ms of delay, which is noticeable but not too awful unless you like rhythm games.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can a 4.1 Bluetooth speaker connect to 4.2 Bluetooth version on the TV?

Bluetooth has a noticeable latency period. Fastest BT audio protocol is APTX-LL (which is exclusive to qualcomm phones) and even that is 35ms as the best case scenario, otherwise it ranges from 100 to 300ms. Both are completely unacceptable for any sort of gaming.

It really depends on the latency of transmission on the product. The name of the tranmission latency is escaping me right now, but if A/V Sync is important, there are late models of bluetooth that you can go with that have minimal de-sync
