When you have 10 GB but only connect to 1000 KB/s servers. ouch.

Everyone gets fast speed but what happens with services get overloaded by the amount of data by newer transfer speeds? Nuke it.

They'll probably have some absurd "fairness" balancing or 10Gbps for first 100GB and then it'll be at 200Mbit. We've seen all that before...

Damn, they ask like 50 for 100mbit here lol. Seems very nice, but I don't know how well storage and servers will be able to keep up

Probably the same thing that happened in India. A single company offers an incredible deal on internet and once they have everyone using it they raise the prices a ton. Since the alternative is no internet people are forced to pay the new price

I Wil post here first speed test when will be avaible, when Wil bee available in my area I will chose 2,5 gb beacuase I want to all my tablet, pc, smartphone to go with full speed

 

BucKGup, here never going that, I have internet from that ISP almost 15 year, the price going lower and the service getting better and better

I'm paying just under $50 for 10/1.  ISP offerings in the USA are criminal.

That’s because the phone company doesn’t want to upgrade all their infrastructure. Because that speed you have looks like aDSL. DSL is distanced limited compared to Docsis and Fiber. Which is why aDSL is still deployed in some areas because VDSL wouldn’t be practical and Fiber is likely not as profitable in those areas.

That's Cox Cable.  It's literally the cheapest they offer.  Only $19.99 for the first year.  Then the price goes up over 100%.

I looked at the plans on their website. They showed 25/3 as the cheapest service and its $29.99 for a year and it goes up to like $44.99 in the second year. So you may want to check for a new plan if your only getting 10/1.

Just tested it at 29/3.  So they must have finally come to their senses and upgraded the starter package.  So it's only "sad" now, instead of "pathetic".

 

I'd happily pay $50/mo for the 50/3--but they just want to nickle/dime.
