i need help choosing the parts for my pc

buzzh

get corsair vengeance lpx ram, and a good quality ssd(Samsung recommended), a budget case(anything is fine), and a corsair power supply. Although you could get a full modular psu, those can get expensive quickly. don't save money on the psu and ssd as they directly affect the overall life of your pc.

As for the gpu, save the cash. The current market makes anything a bad deal, maybe around the end of this year gpus could be affordable. if you want to go with the 5600x, get something cheap like a gt710 to hold you over though I recommend a cpu with and igpu.

As @RandomTextbook said. Just a little addon, refer to the tier list below for alternatives than Samsung/Corsair. I always use them for component comparisons. Tier A to B is good for you.

PSU Tier List.

SSD Tier List.

GPUs are ridiculously expensive nowadays. I even picked a Xeon using iGPU few days ago just for the sake to make the PC usable.

Really depends on your use case. Micro ATX is usable for daily-use and if you don't plan to upgrade much, but ATX can got better upgradability scale as it's bigger (more slots to PCI-e and RAM).

Humor me, as you should do.

Hence, get a cheap GPU like 1030 or even 710, secondhand is fine as you'd sell it if you want to anyway, as long as the PC's usable first.

I edited my post btw for your mobo size.

Actually, don't. If you got the budget for it, get the most recent hardware as possible, at least to keep the system not lagging behind for future use case.

That 5600X's already good, you simply just need a budget-GPU to run your system for a while.

Humor me, as you should do.

It's possible, but you'd sacrifice the PCIe Gen 4 (which, if you want to get the best speed of SSD nowadays or for future GPU, it's important) just over for the iGPU that you won't use much after you get a decent GPU.

Ask the seller to update the BIOS if they can. It could be easier if you buy the motherboard from a local offline store.

You should, as the cooler and RAM can interfere if the size's not right and the RAM won't fit. Which RAM do you choose?

Scrape that GPU, as told as before just get a cheapo GPU first, it's too expensive for a 2060 (not even a super, or Ti).

It's not 2060, but you'll get the idea why you shouldn't get a GPU yet.

https://pangoly.com/en/price-history/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2060-super

But if you want spend more on it, well, I can't do anything on it to prevent you. I'd save the money tbh for a lot better price.

Humor me, as you should do.

if you are not getting a gpu just go with the 5600g, don't downgrade to zen 2, do not get corsair ram for ryzen, go with gskill or crucial

perhaps some combo like this for mobo/cpu
