Is USB 3 important and should I get a better motherboard for it?

So my case has a USB 3 port and my motherboard doesn’t. Should I buy a more expensive motherboard to get one? If I should, greatly appreciated if you could suggest one preferably with good WiFi as I will be planning to put my pc far from a router.

Motherboard doesn't need change.

Get a little better power supply.

And don't buy that case for 150USD

that's all you need to change.

P.S. I somehow don't trust silicon power SSDs, Because I had somewhat bad experience with that brand, So I'm not sure if you should or shouldn't get it 😅

Your case has two USB Type A ports ('normal USB') and one USB Type C port (one of those newer reversible ports).

The case's USB Type A ports are 5Gb/s, also known as 'USB 3.2 Gen 1' (previously known as 'USB 3.1 Gen 1' and before that 'USB 3.0'). Your motherboard has the correct connection for these two USB Type A ports on the case (it's the connector just below the 24 pin, on the far right hand side of the board).

The USB warning on your PCPP list is regarding the USB Type C port on the case, which can run at 10Gb/s, which is known as USB 3.2 Gen 2 (previously known as USB 3.1 Gen 2).

The case's USB Type C connector needs a specific type of connection on the motherboard to function though:

Buy MZHOU USB 3.1 Type C Front Panel Header Extension Cable 57 cm, USB 3.1 Type E to USB 3.1 Type C Cable,Gen 2 10 Gbps Internal Adapter Cable, with Mount Screw (22.5

The ASUS  motherboard in your list does not have this connector though, so the USB Type C port of the case wouldn't be able to plug in to the board.

You have two options now:

- Change nothing: if you don't care about the case's USB Type C port, you can just choose to not use it.

- Change the motherboard: to pick one with such a USB Type C front panel port, so you can use the Type C port on the case.

It's a matter of personal preference. I personally do not like non-functional ports on a case front panel. USB-C is becoming more popular so I lean towards getting a motherboard with appropriate support.

If you want to stay with Asus, the TUF X570-Pro is not much more expensive than the TUF B550-Plus. Otherwise, consider the less expensive MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge WiFi or slightly more expensive MSI MPG B550 Gaming Carbon WiFi.

Give serious thought to using an air tower cpu cooler. The AIO selected is not sRGB and I don't believe it's lighting will look good against the case fan lighting.

I'd suggest a better PSU.

You might consider a GPU with motherboard compatible lighting.
