MSI Releases their 1st ever Mechanical Keyboard

D: How did you even manage to get one?! I must know!

Haha I was cleaning out my storage room and stumbled upon it and that was the happiest day of my life.

If I didn't already have a K90 I would get it!

I love my K90, I'm in the same boat. I'm curious, why don't people like Cherry Red switches?

Not the best for typing because they don't have the click or the bump. I think if I tried Browns I would like them more, because I type quiet a bit.

The thing I don't like about the tactile bump is that it can interfere with the key movement when doing fast key presses.

The thing that drove me to try reds was their super low actuation force, I like light keys.

I actually don't care for most Red Switch keyboards, they all feel so mushy. Yet my Filco with Reds feels amazing.

Interesting, I have no problem typing on mine, I think it's easier than most other keyboards. I mean, if you press a key, it registered, I don't need a clicky feedback to know when to stop pressing. That's just me. Or is it something else that people like? I personally don't like the clicky sound that the other keyboards make as well.

I personally dont like my k60 for typing because theres no feedback... Gaming is great but i'd like some feedback from it when typing out 'cause it doesn't feel right :/

OK, so it's about the feedback, interesting. Good to know.

While I wouldnt buy this specific keyboard I do like MSI products. I think its great to see as many keyboards on the market aswell since everyone has their own personal taste. I use a Sidewinder X4 which I dont think is any sort of special but its the closest I can get to perfection for myself. I would love to see a low profile mechanical board from MSI that had changable light color and brightness, media buttons and some sort of programable buttons.

And I who thought Corsair Dominator Platinum was the holder of the most overdone commercial... :D It's a decent keyboard, but I don't really like the color scheme :(

Here's the trailer I'm referring to btw

I would buy it if my build was black and yellow, and because im obsessed with color scheme it couldnt work for me. An MSI 680 Lightning would fit so well with this keyboard. If they release a mouse to go with it i might consider going away from razer as my other components are msi

I voted, yes, and I will be buying one of these but to justify my reason, I have the Mpower board to go along with this keyboard :)

Sorry but its hideous. And the mechanical keyboard market is dominated by either specialist like ducky or filco or gaming brands like corsair and CM. Sorry but unless you try to stand out, no hope for this keyboard.

It would match nicely with your motherboard and lightning card if your case has a window but not a lot of people like yellow so maybe they should release other colors

This yellow bit of candy would look awsome with my new yellow black and grey build.
