Is there any way to use two different audio devices at the same time with no lag on one of them like you get while listening to Stereo Mix?

Joe Brainer

Trying to use my Soundbar on 3.5mm at the same time as my Pioneer via S/PDIF(digital). When I listen to the Soundbar with stereo mix, the Pioneer is behind just enough to be quite bothersome.

It will not allow me to listen to the S/PDIF jack and send the audio to the Soundbar, but I doubt that would make a difference.
It seems the software literally is listening in rather than using the actual source, resulting in that few hundredth of a millisecond of lag.

Do it in the analog domain. If they're both running off the same analog source, the time difference should be negligible.

SPDIF I think is is a laggy protocol cause it needs encoding and decoding compared to analog.

Like ^ said you have to delay one of the sources via Voicemeeter to get it to line up.

I don't know what you are trying to achieve, but even if the audio is perfectly in sync, it might not work. The phase response  of different loudspeakers doesn't match. That's why every loudspeaker array consists of only one type of cabinet or driver.

But you can try to align it with a tool like the Voicemeeter stuff.
