I I just built my new PC but it's not wanting to display to the screen and says no signal (won't even show bios), switched back to my old card and it works perfectly. The 3080s lights and fans turn on but nothing else. So I believe it's something wrong with the 3080 connecting to my system but I was curious if anybody has the same issue and hopefully a fix. I also just updated my bios and still not working, I replaced the cable and my led indicator light is showing nothing. I tripled checked and everything is connected
Specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
Asus tuf gamingx570
Corsair dominator ram 2x16
3080 fe
Corsair rm850x

So I tried a bunch of stuff with no solution, still said no signal. I said screw it I'm just gonna leave it on with the no signal popping up and after like 20 mins it turned on. So my assumption is it needed time to recognize the card.

Do you use the same cable? If not and it is display port. Try switching it through the monitors menu.

Ya I have my original, that's how I updated my bios but do you have any specific updates and drivers in mind I should download, just so I don't miss anything.

I may but idk and ya I tried everything, I'm still thinking it's a software issue or the cards faulty

i would pin it on the card at this point, my 3080 worked straight away when i installed it. unless anyone else chimes in with a solution i would consider RMA

I assume you are using Display Port reading through the thread... is it a certified DP 1.4 cable? I'd try a certified cable first (not very expensive on Amazon) before starting an RMA.

So I'm looking at the power cable it's self and it looks like one of the interior peices us pushed back, could that be causing it ?

Edited: didn't work, replaced cable
