Hello so I checked systemrequirementslab if I could run Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and it said no I have a RTX 3060 12gb OC and an i7 10700kf and 16gb ram can I run Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Absolutely. 1080p or 1440p sure, 4K would probably be a bad experience though.

What part of the system requirement test did you fail?  Since your main components are fine.

I have no idea what or who told you that you cannot run it, but you most certainly can.

 

The obvious question is what resolution are you intending to play at?

Lower them at 1440 for what purpose?

 

To attain/stay at 60 fps?

I doubt you'll be able to run Max settings at 1440p with the 3060 and stay above 60fps. It looks like a pretty demanding/unoptimized game

It's less "unoptimized" than it is the fact that AC games are optimized for Radeon cards. Radeon blows GeForce out of the water in AC Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla for this reason.

 

 

Hardware Unboxed's benchmark puts 1440p Ultra High at 50 fps average/39 fps 1% low on their test bench, which I personally consider an acceptable experience.

I haven't played an AC game on PC. I've played odyssey on PS5 and for me it wasn't a good experience. I try to be 100+ fps in every game I play. I'll turn settings down to up my frame rate if I have to, but that's me.

I guess so.

 

I only have a 2060, and play at 1440 with a few settings turned to medium and I get a very playable 75-80 fps.

 

Wouldn't a 3060 allow him to either push stuff back to high and maintain the 75-80 fps I have - that, or keep some settings at medium and gain some frames?
