“Just a piece of injection molded plastic?” *alibaba quickly leaps into a phone booth and removes his glasses*

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Thanks, I was hoping for a tray load, but could possibly alter this one to fit.

May be easier to just 3d print something or pay to have someone do it.  There are several companies that do that. You send them a file of what you want and they print it.

Does the ODD needs to be screwed into that adapter or if it just slides/snaps in? I can't quite tell from the picture.

Trying to make custom mounting for these types of drives is always annoying, very cool to find some adapters that fit in normal 5" or 3" bays.

Looks like this particular one holds the unit in with screws on the Left side

There are others though; this one allows you to not only add an additional 2.5" drive but gives two more usb 3/0 ports. Same version, in stock from china

Here's one that holds an extra 3.5" hard drive
