Want to know if I will get banned for gaming on a VM

There have been many reports about getting banned by anticheat for using a VM. I want to try sth like 8 gamers 1 cpu between multiple friends. Is there a list of what games are safe and what are not?

Read the games terms of use. They are there for a reason.

Most games simply don't say anything regarding the use of VMs. They only say that cheating is not allowed.

The question is. Why would you game on a VM in the first place? You wanna cheat in game? 😄

This is often the case but they don't care about you at all normally so best bet is to check if people have been banned beforehand for this and weigh the risk reward.

Maybe you should setup this before worrying about games, that's the least of your concern for such a setup

Fully agree with this.

 

If you don't have sufficient knowledge and no ability to create a proof of concept and fully test that, don't bother attempting this at all.

First ask yourself...is it really cheaper to buy a really expensive CPU, motherboard, high capacity ram, nvme's and PSU (Risers etc...if you're doing more than 2-3 GPU's)....or is it better value to just buy a few smaller systems and have seperate gaming PC's?
