So, SVP (Smooth Video Project) freezes my whole PC while playing a video

Hello! today I got SVP latest version to use the RIFE AI Interpolation function but, after a few seconds while trying to play a video with PotPlayer the whole PC freezes, the mouse and keyboard do not respond and the screen all around the area that the  video covers do not respond till the video ends, and if I try to do something while it is frozen that action gets performed after the video ends (and this happens without even having the RIFE profile selected, just by using normal SVP, does anyone have any idea what could be happening? thank you in advance

 

Btw I normally can play 1080p content with almost everything maxed out without problem, I have Windows 10, 8gb RAM, the i7-2680qm and the quadro 3000m, if you need any info just ask for it, if you have any idea on what could be happening of coure

 

And I know they have a forum but I post this here because its most likely to get a fastest response here I think

 

Additionally, if I select the RIFE profile, it does nothing, it does not increase the number of frames while a normal profile does

Have you asked on the official SVP forum? I've had issues with SVP before too and there's a very active developers helping users in the forum.

No, I haven't yet but, it seems that it could have been weird thing that happens some times to me, that for example if I had a game with full screen selected in the settings if I launch a match it will launch it in windowed mode always and the part to select resolution appears in blank space I mean, it doesn't let me select resolution

 

I restarted and everything seems ok, except that RIFE for some reason just doesnt wanna interpolate some videos, for example I have 2 different 1080p anime episodes and it doesn't wanna do the interpolation with one of them

I also use SVP (awesome software btw) and I think I remember seeing the RIFE currently is beta, so weird things happening probably isn't too "unreal". 

When you enter a videogame and the game opens up as windowed, have you tried pressing Alt+Enter?

I haven't, but I don't think it would had matter because as I said it seems like the resolutions bug out, but if it happens again I can try it and see if it does something

Oh, it happens once in a while and with restarting it goes back to normal so I prefer to not screw with things for now but thanks for the suggestion
