I would go for two 27" monitors :P All the space makes for a very convenient editing platform as well.

Also this is just a personal preference but if were you, I'd still to resolutions higher then 1080p on such a big screeen. Something like 2560 X 1440 in terms of resolution is great.

There is very much such a thing as too big. Unless you have an enormous desk with a lot of distance to your monitors I wouldn't ever go bigger than 24".

True, I really did not think of that, but on another note, I think that if he is asking that question, he already knows if the monitors would fit or not, or he would not be asking it.

False, this is not a factor of size but resolution. Many mainstream 27" screens are 1080p, you will only be affected of a performance hit if you bump it up to 1440p screens.

if a 27" is 1080p it will be rather blury though and not as crisp as it should b. idk i always think that a 27" should be 1440p and thats why i always think this

Most people can't afford 1440p screens though. But this adds to another point, if you can't afford 1440p screens don't get 27"! It will look a lot better if you just get 1080p 24" screens then.

@ericlee30 - A lot of people forget to account for the distance you need to have to the monitors in order to use them comfortably, and I can only guess that this would be a prime example of that given that he's coming from a 21" screen.

Good point bro :) I didn't think of it that way ether, I just amused that if he was asking the opinion of 2) 27 inch monitors, he already had the space for it.

Never too big. ;) I'm accustomed to multiple large screens now. They are much more relaxing to the eye.

I personally prefer using a 24" if it's running at 1920x1080 / 1920x1200, the same resolution on a 27" doesn't work with me.

Personally I don't like the PPI of 1080p 27" monitors, I personally would rather go with 2 IPS 23"-24" for the vibrancy of colour and viewing angle. Remember you'll be viewing them from different angles because you have 2 of them, if might just be me but that'd feel weird.

the best thing would be if you could try out 2x 27" setup before you buy. I mean bigger is better but you need to consider if its for you. If the pixels are not too big for you if you have them on 1080p. Is the sitting correct for you and overall if you fell comfortable with them. Its not just about smashing monitors together.

and then there is a question how would you use them, what resolution, whats your spec and so on....

I was using a 32" 1080p display and it was to big for me (being around 60cm from the screen).. I reverted back to a 23" monitor

It depends on the things you do on your PC and the viewing distance, I guess. You could buy one 27" first and then a second one later, if you still want that second 27".

I'm happy with my 22", sitting ~60cm away.

Do you think two 27" will be too big or shall i gor for one 27" and my old 21" ?

Desk space aint a problem, teipple monitors will not blow my budget but i dont think i will use it that mich and willl therfore be a overkill

i think u should go for it and the other option will be a little messy coz while gaming and other tasks u will have to concentrate on teo different screen sizes and thats a headache and u will not like the experience either also the content will appear different on different screens

oh yea, i have one 21" 1650x150 and one shitty  19" 1280x1024... i notice such thing if i run a program at 1080p, different screensizes i consider as a pain in the ass sometimes. not too often tough. Didnt think of that, thanks. If i didnt se this i may mave buy two different sizes
