Are we talking about SATA power cables or SATA data cables?

Data cables you wouldn't be able to see more than an inch of at the most in any normal modern build and the power cable you'd never see at all so braided ones sounds like an incredible scam, but I'm not at all surprised it's Corsair who's making them.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

sleved power cables? sure

Sata, why and for power or data?

Else I do find some better, but not everyone has as of a good "grip" and "release". (my better looking ones have a worse release)

But had a some more fun colors and a bit better looking plastic, not sure if one could buy a packet of a branded one or others sata cables.

All you need to look for in a SATA cable is if it has locking latches. That way it will never come loose.

The data one?

Nope, unless you want aesthetic, like others already said

Really sata cable is basically only having 2 conductor of data and 3 gnd

And at most you only ever need 1m of it

As for power? You also can get it from local store make sure it was not the bottom of the barrel...

No, it does not but if you have the money and just, like want it you can go for it, nothing gets harm

There's so little to no difference between cheap cable and expensive one

Just remember

Don't go with bottom of the barrel

no, you need another SSD and connector type other than sata.

Can also depend on the SSD, some can be slower than a HDD if you bought a low quality one.

no. depends on build quality only.

Speed and reliability is mostly the same, PCIE is more to worry about. As the amount of data and speed to power through an cable is a lot harder.

Sata doesn't matter, if you have NVME SSD, then it depends on the slot (gen 3, gen 4 PCIE).
