Best driver updater?

cheekboys

Hi, I am wondering what the best software for downloading updated drivers is? I used advanced driver updater (http://www.systweak.com/ADU/ ) but it caused my PC to not startup and I had to go from the last system restore point. So does anyone have any driver updaters that are more reliable than this one?

doing it manually, seeing as you only really do it when needed, except for graphic drivers and the program that comes with the drivers will do that for you

Yeah, dont bother with those pieces of software. Just make a note of your hardware and install the latest drivers for each of them when you install them, install windows or start to run into problems with them.

Game booster has nice intergraded updating software in it, with some optimizations, i hated the last version but really, it boosted my windows 8 pc's performance, i also heard of driver booster which is i think from the same company but more dedicated for driver updating, hope this helps :D

I just do an annual drive check apart from GPU drivers.  Usually keeps me up with the latestish

I've always used DeviceDoctor and the built in Windows (7 & 8) updater.

I've used Driver Scanner on multiple machines the 2014 edition it's paid but you can google "driver scanner serial key" and there's a youtube video or something with a serial key in the description that I've used multiple times.
