can i apply xmp/ OC to 2ddr kits same number part but different chip manufacturer ?

can i apply xmp to 2ddr kits of

2 modules each

same number part, capacity, cl,

but different chip manufacturer ?

 

can i apply different timmngs to each kit ?

XMP is read from RAM from slot A1. You can however set timings manually.

ohh thanks do you tthink its better to set timings from the vendor (corsair ) or the Ryzen DRAM calculator?

first one give same timmings for two kits

the second give different timming due to differents chips in modules

Reliability will be questionable; use the 'looser' timings for all four, to be safe.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for additional info. added.

 

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?
