Torn on what case to purchase.

Mitch3k

I'm looking at buying a tower with the space for a triple rad (ideally in the top) and I am torn between cases like the NZXT Switch 810,NZXT H440, NZXT Phantom 820 (I have a soft spot for the phantom line), Corsair 750D or the 760T. Please do suggest other cases with the space for a triple 120 mm rad in the top max price of about ~250. The planned build will look something like this:

Haswell-E 2011 CPU

X99 Board (Most likely ATX)

Swifttech h320

Crossfire R9 290 (already own one)

Corsair RM 1000w

CPU: i7 3770k @4.5Ghz 1.26v Cooler: H100i 2 Sp120 Quiets MoBo: MSI Z77 MPOWER Big Bang RAM: 16GB G.Skill Sniper 2133Mhz CL9 Graphics Card: Asus Direct CU II R9 290 Storage: Vertex 4 128GB, WD Black 1TB Case: NZXT H440 Green

I would go with the H440. I have heard awesome things about it and it looks like a great case.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

Are you looking specifically for 360 rad space?

Enthoo Primo can fit up to 480mm in the top and is around ~250, Solid case.

750D or 760T

both are beautiful

get the 760T is you want to be a little 'out of the ordinary' rather than a plain elegant case like the 750D

Phantom 820, H440, or 750D.

Problem I have with the 820 is that it's costing you ~$70 for a fan controller and lighting over a Switch 810.  :/

I would definitely go for the H440. After putting all my stuff in the 750D it's starting to show that it can't handle all the weight.

What do you mean it can't handle the weight?

When I put any forces on it it starts to pull apart and warp.

I personally prefer the Primo to the Luxe, as I think Bigger is better.

But if you wanted the little brother of the Primo the Luxe would be a solid case.

I am personally replacing my Switch 810 with a Enthoo Primo just because they're similar cases but the Primo just walks all over the 810.

My opinion of my switch 810 isn't high if I didn't pay 180$ for it I would toss it out. The hot swappable hddbay is cool, the back IO led is cool but the plastic construction is something that I cant actually like and my Disk drive  catching on the stealth cover when closing is a pain and the bottom air filter refuses to pop out and the front IO cover is always open because I am always using it. It's just not a good case.

Why do you always die right after I fix you?

Cases is really, really subjective. Outside of size, and a few other smaller details, we are pretty much looking at subjective taste.

Some will find that the 750D is the most stunning thing ever and other will call it dull. Perspective.

750d. Its an amazing case and i may be swapping my current build into one eventually. There are a ton of features and great cable management options. Looks like a great case to build in

Personally I'd go 750D if you want to be classy or 760T if you want to be more showy. But that is nothing other than personal preference.

The Phanteks Enthoo Luxe is coming out soon at $139. It comes with a pump mount, reservoir mount, 10 way fan hub which runs under PWM (this is an AMAZING feature) as well as 420mm (!!) support.

Once again, for $139. I understand that Corsair make good cases but I find that they are way overpriced. Hardware canucks reviews always frown at the build quality issues with the obsidian and graphite line. Corsair mainly do the fundamentals right (like cable management, aesthetic and radiator support) but IMO they rarely have that one 'special' feature to make it awesome.

I would recommend either waiting for the Enthoo Luxe (or getting Primo but bare in mind that its huge) or decide between the h440 and Phantom 530/630. The latter is a full tower whilst the former is a mid size, so if you want something smaller, consider the h440.

I don't have any plans to do custom water cooling so I think the Enthoo Primo is a bit overkill. So its really between the H440 760T or the Luxe
