Should I try an auto-buy bot?

Proprietary

I am starting college next September, and I need to get my hands on a rtx 3070 before that. With the current market, I worry that the prices still won't return to normal even then. Should I do something right away? Is it worth learning to create an auto-buy bot?

I know it might not be that helpful, but I used a Discord that notified me of stock updates by ways of their own bot. I was able to complete a purchase and get a 3070 for MSRP.
There was about a 30-40min window before stock ran out, but this was B&H, a lesser known retailer for computer parts.

Prices won't return to normal. Pretty much been officially stated that the current trend will continue on into 2022. I'd say give it a shot as well you'll be competing on a more even playing field then again scalpers that already use these bots.

It's kinda crap that the only way to even get a card is to just go and use the same tools as the people that prevent you from getting the card in the first place.
