Posted March 31, 2014 Time for my first build.... lets hope it meets up to par and doesn't look completely horrible, shall we? =D In the effort to save money on this build, I decided to take the parts that don't need upgrading, from my current pc, into the new one. Therefore the CPU, RAM, HDD and Optical drive are all being "Salvaged" Sure, I lose out on the ability to overclock, but this CPU has worked great for me and still runs like a beauty. CPU: i7-3770 - Arrived (Being taken from old machine) CPU Cooler: Enermax ETS-T40-BK - Arrived Motherboard: Asrock Extreme4 ATX LGA 1155 - Arrived RAM: 12GB DDR3 - Arrived (Taken from old machine) SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB - Arrived HDD: 1TB - Arrived (From previous machine) GPU: PNY GTX 780 3GB - Being Replaced by Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB - Arrived Case: Zalman z11 plus - Arrived PSU: Corsair TX650M - Being Replaced by RM750 due to Coil Whine - Arrived Cooling: 4x Bitfenix Spectre 120mm all black fans - Arrived Other: NZXT Sentry mix 2 - Arrived Other: NZXT Hue - Arrived Windows 8.1 - Arrived No Ugly LED fans in the build this time. Just the Hue for a smooth, even but not overkill lighting system. The goal for this build: Make a build in the Z11 that doesn't look completely overkill with lights and unnecessary junk. Stay tuned for the build! Lots of pictures in store >.> Pictures being taken by a Canon T3 with 18-55mm Kit lens and 50mm 1.8 Lens.
 Posted April 1, 2014 Alright, began work on the fan replacement. Can't have ugly LED fans in my build, so I replaced them with some Bitfenix Spectres. (I remembered the fan in the front, don't worry =)) Also replaced the LED fan on the CPU cooler: Waiting for GPU to arrive so I can start taking apart my current rig. Posted April 3, 2014 The crown jewel arrived today! Also put the NZXT Hue in and tested out the LED's, as last time I got this unit it was severely defective.... (How ironic is it that I removed all the blue LED fans only to take a picture with the Hue accidentally set to blue.....) At This point I'm just waiting on my OS to arrive, so I can start building. if I start building and my OS doesn't arrive in time, I am left without a computer.... Posted April 3, 2014 Nice build so far can't wait to see it done Also what model t3 are you using ( unless there is only one and I'm stupid)and what lenses? If it dosent cost too much I might go with a similar setup as I would like something to take good pics with. The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches. Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.
Posted April 3, 2014 @kingzogan clean those finger prints off the 780  *Wipes his hands on his shirt innocently* But seriously, I don't see any fingerprints in the pic or IRL Ill give it a wipe anyways. what camera do you use? those are some nice, high quality pics! Mentioned it in the original post, even though it's not the sharpest camera I just set the aperture as high as possible and use a tripod. Comes out with a nice, clean image. If it dosent cost too much I might go with a similar setup as I would like something to take good pics with. Honestly it's all about light, I nearly always wait to take my pictures when there's natural daylight around. I have a regular T3, and I use my 50mm lens for every picture. The exposure times are around 10-30 seconds though, as I keep the ISO low to reduce noise. EDIT: Whoops, you just posted as well.
 Yea I don't know a lot about photography but I have a pretty good eye when taking pictures and many people have said I got a natural talent. My older sister does photography for a living so I might take some tips from her. If you wan't you can check out some of here work here. http://www.etsyonsale.com/shop/MeadowPath The year is 20XX. Posted April 4, 2014 Began the "Heart transplant" salvaging the parts from my current rig into the new one. Goodbye Dell XPS 8500! Sorry for the low light in these pictures, didn't start working on it until later in the evening. Picture quality may falter. Moments away from the operation, he won't survive the procedure.... goodbye my friend. First glimpses of the CPU CPU and Ram into the new Mobo! Was also able to salvage the Barracuda in the system. At least I have all my storage. RIP XPS 8500 2012-2014

Posted April 5, 2014 Started putting everything into the case (at last!) 1 SSD, 1 giant mess of cables to come. After about an hour of cable routing...... I give you.... a very-close-to-finished build! I was going to get better pictures, but then THIS happened. Turns out I need to RMA my GPU.... So this build isn't quite finished yet. Hopefully I can get a replacement soon ;-;

Yeah, it's not a BAD card, it's just I need something powerful enough for surround gaming, and the 650 doesn't cut it =P
