The 3060 won't even do 144fps, best is around 80-110, which is still fine with 1600.

Yes CPU is a Bottle neck

Yes GPU is Overkill for 1080p

And Yes, 1200 Watt power supply is also overkill

No, the cpu is okay. 6 cores cpu will deliver a good performance for the 3060.

And no, it's not overkill for 1080p. Actually it will run great as 3060 is the low end of the 3000 series. You can max out the quality and get fast fps.

You can even run both monitors for gaming.

1200w is an overkill, but if you already have it, i don't think it will be a problem.

3060 is not Overkill's when you're using dual monitor 1080p and one of them is running at 144hz

WHA???

Not even a 3070 is overkill for 1080p. A 3060 could at best get 80-100FPS avg. at 1080p Ultra in most AAA games.

If you want a constant 100+FPS in most titles at 1080p, you need a 3070 at the least (**WITH a good CPU).

Your motherboard support that cpu. It's not necessary though, 1600 is good enough. Just try it.

The 1600 does struggle to reach 144fps in newer games so if that is not happening and the gpu is not at 100% then op might want to consider upgrading.
