You aren't using a fan on the CPU cooler?

Ah, nevermind, I forgot that the Dark Rock 4 takes a fan in the middle.

Overkill cooler.聽

Probably doesn't even need the fan, with all those 3 red fans sucking air out the case.

Enjoy the new gpu, it's a bit old, but should still do all right at 1080p low-medium in lots of games.

It鈥檚 runs basically every game I throw at 1080p on very high settings馃榿

I know that I mostly play older games so that probably explains it

That explains a lot as a 390x is at best a solid medium card nowadays :p. When moving to new games the first thing that will be a problem is the 3200g but your system is basically fully ready for whatever new ryzen you toss in it.

If it's just gaming a 5600 is the better pick but neither of those are bad. Just a heads up that the 3800x is usually a lot more and offers very little extra over a 3700x

I've been considering one of those for my 3600; my current Pure Rock was only ever meant to be a 'make do'.

Nicely聽done...

**I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have amended.**

Current PC spec. in my profile.
Can I realistically call myself a gamer, if I only play ONE, twenty year old game...?

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

That may be if you're using the processor to encode the video.聽

The R9 390 should be new enough to be supported by OBS, so you should be able to stream using video card's hardware encoding, leaving the CPU to games.聽 Try to use AMF聽 (amd media framework or something like that) inside OBS, it's an option like when you select nvEnc for nvidia cards.聽

If it's not AMF, it may be called VCE聽 (video coding engine), the name used before they made AMF聽
