Knowing I spent too much money on a mobo

I'm building a new PC for fun that has an interesting spin in that it's case is a PS2 and I've been in the planning stage for forever. But, when I went to go buy a motherboard to pair with a 11400 the only mobo available was a Z590. Yeah it's a "lower-end" Z590, but it's still more than I needed, was looking more for a 500 series H/B with RAM overclocking, but they were sold out everywhere I looked. Ended up paying, like, $200 bucks for the ASRock Z590M-ITX when I much would've gotten something like the B560M for $100. I know there aren't many ITX options for 500 series to begin with, but that small selection was wiped out.

I believe the b560 boards also support memory overclocking now.

B560 and H570 support RAM overclocking, regardless if you have a K CPU or not.

There's only one solution now. Return the 11400 and get the 11600k and OVERCLOCK BABY

That's why I was looking for a B or H model, but I just couldn't find them in stock. Happy they brought a feature that should be on all their boards to lower chipsets though.

I wish I could, but I'm working with a SFF custom case and thermals are already gonna be a pia. I think I've made peace with the decision by realizing I still have a CPU upgrade path though

Dont seen an issue spending that much. Cheapest one I've ever got was prolly $170usd, and that will never happen again. As long as it has the proper features im after if money well spent.
