Ram Brand or spec Mismatch??

I currently have a system running 16GB of RAM.

  • Gskill Trident z
  • 2x8gb
  • 3600mhz
  • CL16
  • Timing 16-15-15-35

I am trying to get more ram for the PC, but can't find the exact same ram sticks. 

 

So the question is, is it ok to use the same specs of ram but made by different manufacture? i.e. corsair, team group, or other brands.

Is it ok to use ram with same 2x8gb 3600 mhz but with different timings.

 

If I get a set of ram thats 3600 mhz with CL 16 but timings are like 16-16-16-36 or something like that.. will it work? Or can I like change the original set of ram timing to match the slower ones.

Different ram usually works but you may have better luck with more similar sticks.

Running at the lower speed of the 2 kits should work.
