Can you a software like berryboot on a pc?

Hey guys i am new to  linux and learn it so, I installed on a virtual Box but my pc very old (VT-x supported) so I am looking for software like berryboot  so i can run linux , windows 10  and yes i have tried duel boot but it never boots into the secondary os and sometime when it does the os gets correpted so what should i do is there a ways to fix the duel boot error (on secondary drive) Plz help

You should have two drives, 1 for windows and 1 for linux, that way, if something happens to one drive, the files on the other isn't touched.

I did that and when ever i boot into my hard drive the storeage was ubstabel and i

 want to use half of my hard drive in windows 10

I don't understand. What do you mean use half your drive in win10?

like if have 500 gb in hdd 250gb to windows and another 250 gb to ubuntu

I meant you should have two entirely separate drives, not one drive partitioned into two.

1 drive for windows and an different physical drive for linux. That way they never have the ability to corrupt each other
