Magic Lantern can do those things. I used it on an EOS M shooting compressed video about 7-8 years ago and on a 50D shooting RAW video about 2-3 years ago and the usability and results were fantastic. Good news is, I saw some references to an M50 port of ML, bad news is I can't find a recent thread or any download link so I'm not sure if the port is functional, actively in development, or even publicly available at all. Your best bet is to really scour the ML forums and see if you can find anything there, that's how I got EOS M ports back in 2013 before ML was officially available for that platform. I'm not aware of anything else that does the same thing as Magiclantern, it's a pretty unique software.

It won't. Different processors, different internal architecture, different firmware. ML images have to match the exact camera and the exact firmware version that's on the camera.

You can't on that camera(unless someone finds a way to in the future, but magic lantern seems to be dead/dieing now.)

But really do you want raw video? Its a massive file, Pretty picky about editing, and really doesn't give you a major quality difference for editing.

I think the cheapest canon camera with raw video is the r5, and I haven't been able to play with it cause I don't have a cfexpress card. I have also used magic lantern on my 7d, and got a bit less than 1080p video. But my 256gb card would fill in less than a hour, and had a fun workflow of converting from mlv files to cDNG then using resolve to edit. Quality wise its a bit better, but not a massive difference if you don't pushing it really hard.

raw video isn't this amazing thing, there is other more important things, like dynamic range, color science, ect

you can't on an M50, canon won't let you and 3rd party firmware isn't out for it
