should i get a z590 or a z490 for this build. If you could let me know some of the pros and cons to each it would be great.

Your my build link is empty, maybe try and copy paste the entire BB code? Also the main difference between Z490 and Z590 is the 590 will  typically have more m.2. nvme and PCIe 4.0 lanes.

Whatever you can get for cheaper. Z-series motherboards seem to be really high in price right now, probably to compensate for Intel now being cheaper. But as long as it has the features you want, has good reviews, is compatible with your system (with PCPP), then choose the one that is cheaper.

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people.

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.

Current setup: Ryzen 5 3600, MSI MPG B550, 2x8GB DDR4-3200, RX 5600 XT (+120 core, +320 Mem), 1TB WD SN550, 1TB Team MP33, 2TB Seagate Barracuda Compute, 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair 4000D Airflow, 650W 80+ Gold. Razer peripherals.

Also have a Alienware Alpha R1: i3-4170T, GTX 860M (≈ a 750 Ti). 2x4GB DDR3L-1600, Crucial MX500

Z590 is Actually Overkill for a i9-10900K, It i'll running up fine on z490, But on paper Z590 is actually more better in term of Feature, If you're willing to sacrifice some Feature, Z490 is gonna running fine...

Good luck on your build 😉

my build. is the link good now?

The i9 10850K is cheaper/better value.

That Ram is stupidly expensive. You can find kits for a lot less. A 3200MHz - 3600MHz kit would be fast enough.

The Corsair H150i Elite Capellix is cheaper.

The Corsair RMx White is cheaper if you can find one in stock. That also comes with White braided cables. Other option would be to buy a Tier A/B fully modular unit and a set of Cablemod cables. The case has a separate compartment for the psu, so it won't be seen anyway, so no real need for a White psu if you can buy a standard unit and aftermarket cables for less.

There is no point getting a Gen 4 SSD if you are buying a 10th gen cpu. You need a Z590 board and 11th gen cpu for that.
