I finally got Doom eternal,!!!

I got the deluxe version for $30 on steam

The deal says it's good until may 16

Where is Cyberpunk 50% off? Best I've seen is 20% recently. With the patches and half price, I might finally pick it up.

Haha while I sort of enjoyed Doom, it wasn't my favourite game. Definitely want to try Eternal though.

I can understand the political rule but if you could give a little more clarity to why it was moved out of hot deals? $30 for a $90 game is a pretty hot deal to me so if you could give me a little insight so's I don't make the same mistake twice

I read it, that's why I was asking...is it because I didn't mention what country I purchased it in? To be perfectly honest I didn't realize steam has different prices based on region until I started this thread and someone commented that Canada has a different price than what I paid

2016 is good, and eternal took everything good about 2016 and made it better. THeres the dash ability, and double jump is given to you at the start.

No worries, I'll keep it in mind next time, born and raised in the u.s. you tend to forget there's a whole world out there with all different currencies lol, even when I visit my wife's family in Cambodia doesn't help because they prefer USD over KHR

It's not that I don't like it, I just have other games I've enjoyed more.

That said, I did end up buying the deluxe version since CyberPunk was out of stock.

 

I hate wall running and platformers. Which is why I'm not a huge fan of Doom. Normally I wouldn't touch it but the other aspects make up for it.

More like wall hanging than wall running, but it has a fair deal of (sometimes midlly frustratingly tight) platforming. God imagine DOOM guy wall running. He'd be slaying even harder.

There's wall climbing, I consider it more-or-less the same shit.

 

After playing it for a bit, it's very similar to the last one. Almost too much so.
