Reports and change-logs for the upcoming Android 4.4.3 release suggest that the latest iteration of Google's mobile OS will focus solely on bug fixes. So don't go expecting a refreshed UI or any major new features. There's no date set for when the fixes are going to come in, but the source that reported the news provided a screen capture from a Nexus 5 rocking Android 4.4.3.

Below is a list of some of the fixes that will be included in the update:

•Frequent data connection dropout fix

•mm-qcamera-daemon crash and optimization fixes

•Camera focus in regular and HDR modes fixes

•Power Manager display wakelock fix

•Multiple Bluetooth fixes

•Fix for a random reboot

•App shortcuts sometimes got removed from launcher after update

•USB debugging security fix

•App shortcuts security fix

•Wi-Fi auto-connect fix

•Other camera fixes

•MMS, Email/Exchange, Calendar, People/Dialer/Contacts, DSP, IPv6, VPN fixes

•Stuck in activation screen fix

•Missed call LED fix

•Subtitle fixes

•Data usage graph fix

•Internet telephony fix

•FCC compliance fix

•Miscellaneous fixes

Are you excited about any of these upcoming fixes?

Thank god! It's about time they fix data-connection dropouts. I've been getting a lot of trouble about this.

I am actually quite happy with this, though im not sure if I can get it, I have a Note 3 with Android 4.3 on it...  Thinking about going Cyanogenmod when that comes out for the note 3.

So I can put anything here?

However, I'm interested to see what devices will be affected by the 'Data dropouts' fix, I've experienced this on Gnex and Nexus 4 too.

Always good to see Android sealing its gaps.

The Wi-Fi autoconnect thing, with 4.3 on the Gnex if I leave the connection range of my network, when I come back it won't autoconnect until I open the Wi-Fi menu, then it seems to kickstart it and it will happen immediately.

i read few days ago that most the fixes for 4,4,3 is for the nexus devices
but an update is always good anyway unless it fuks stuff more than it fixes like BF4

Are you using a Nexus 5?

hahaha yeah

I have sort of solved the high media server issue.

Turn off touch sounds and keyboard sounds. I have narrowed it down to the lock screen sound getting stuck and causing a wakelock. at least that's what I think is the problem...

4.4.X updates are all just about Nexus phones. It's not worth making a big deal.

I love the odd foibles of Android, it does the most but sometimes has the strangest problems.

I'm still using Galaxy Nexus, I really want another AMOLED Nexus phone, at the moment I'm considering a Moto X as it's pretty close.

I am megajelly of the Nexus 5's specs and delicious OTA updates from Google after 4.3 tho.

Not exactly, Cyanogenmod and custom roms will see 4.4.3 as well once it's released. Personally I am waiting for AOSP 4.4.3 build for my Sero 7 Pro. The biggest issue in the custom rom development department right now is WiFi dropping and not reconnecting. This means the issue should be resolved for future builds of these custom roms, so yes good news for a lot of people.

The fixes are pretty good but they are also very broad so don't know which devices are going to take advantage of these fixes... :/

irregular data dropouts, the occasional qq-camera daemon battery eating bug... I am running Cataclysm Rom though, so that might have something to do with it (it's the exact same thing as the stock rom with some added functionality).
