New Rig Opinions

Just put together my first "gaming rig" I went for a budget build as I don't want to spend too much, the specs are as follows

Mobo- Asus ROG Strix Z490-F LGA 1200

CPU- Intel 10th Gen Core i3 10100F

Ram- T-Froce 16gb 3200mhz ddr4

CPU Cooler Corsair H100i Elite Cappilex

GPU- Don't ask me how or why but without any way of getting a card at a decent price much less at MSRP I, don't ask me how ended up with 2 GTS 450 1gb cards that I am running in SLI until I can find a new hopefully RTX card.

Feel free to give me any opinions or any good ideas for possible upgrades down the road, Thanks guys!!

Update- forgot a few things listing the hard ware

PSU-Corsair AX750 Pro

Storage- Seagate Baracuda 1 tb hard drive

Why spend money on an overclockable motherboard when you have a non-overclockable processor? You should get same results with a b560 or b460 board. And where's your storage and power supply

Gaming PC:

CPU- Intel Core i5-10400 (planning to upgrade when Alder Lake releases)

CPU Cooler- be quiet! Dark Rock Slim up to 180W TDP

Motherboard- Asus ROG Strix B460-h Gaming

Memory- Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-3000 CL15 memory

Storage- Crucial P2 1TB M.2-NVME SSD up to 2400 MB/s

Video Card- MSI Ventus 2x Geforce RTX 3060 Ti OC

PC Chassis- Cooler Master TD500 MESH ARGB with Controller

Power Supply- EVGA 650w P2 (planning to upgrade to EVGA 80+ Gold 1k watts)

Rear Fan- Touchaqua Bitspower Notos RGB fan

Monitor- Acer EI272UR 2560x1440 144hz 4ms Radeon Freesync monitor

Keyboard- Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum

Mouse- Logitech G203 Lightsync (planning to upgrade to g502 HERO)

Controller- Xbox One Wireless Controller - Red

LaptopProcessor- Ryzen 7 4700U (8c/8t up to 4.1Ghz) with Radeon graphics, 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, 512 NVME SSD

Did you buy fake gpus on wish and flash the bioses that they are supposed to have back to them and use a janky setup to do without a bridge?

If you answered yes, is your name Dawid?

Do you have a yt called DawidDoes TechStuff?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

This GPU is worse than Intel's igpu better to go for igpu process and sli works with GTX 1070 and upper version only.

You'd have been better off getting a CPU that had an iGPU in the first place.

Desktop - i5-9600KF @4.8GHz all core, MSI Z390-A PRO, 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz, MSI GTX 1660S OC 6GB, WD Blue 500GB M.2 SSD, Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM HDD

Laptop - ASUS ZenBook 14 with ScreenPad, i7-1165G7, Xe iGPU 96EU, 16GB Octa-Channel 4200MHz, MX450 2GB, 512GB SSD with 32GB Optane

Old Laptop 1 - HP Pavilion 15, A10-9600P, R5 iGPU, 8GB, R8 M445DX, 2TB HDD

Old Laptop 2 - HP Pavilion 15 TouchSmart, i3-3217U, Intel HD 4000, 4GB, 1TB HDD

iPad 2018 - 128GB

iPhone XR - 128GB

You need an SSD, even if in small capacity. Get a 128 or 256gb NVME drive from brands like Crucial, Corsair, Samsung. And make sure its NVMe not a 2.5 inch drive. Power supply looks ok to me.

Gaming PC:

CPU- Intel Core i5-10400 (planning to upgrade when Alder Lake releases)

CPU Cooler- be quiet! Dark Rock Slim up to 180W TDP

Motherboard- Asus ROG Strix B460-h Gaming

It’s a long story but I ended up with the 2 Gpus before I started putting the bold together and considering the shortage I figured they would work fine until I can get my hands on a 3060
