  1. Never mind, just found the resolution and DLSS setting!
  2. hello all, I cannot find the setting to change the setting for resolution in f1 2021. I just got it today and it is defaulting to 1080p and I want to play at 1440p. Any suggesstion? I also want to enable DLSS for higher FPS. I also just updated to the latest NVIDIA driver. (pc specs in signature)
  3. yes they do. gen 4 ssd work on gen 3 processors but they run only at gen 3 speeds.
  4. you can buy a wifi adapter online for $20 like this: https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-usb-wifi-adapter-pc/dp/B08D72GSMS/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=wifi+adapter+ac1300&qid=1625342700&sr=8-1
  5. get the i5-10600KF because it has more threads and higher clocks. also, it is based off of a newer architecture. i’d highly recommend it over the 9600kf for the reasons above. also, you could get by with an air cooler such as a arctic freezer esports duo lol or scythe fuma 2 and it should save some cash.
  6. Yeah, but they don't have a card yet, and they would still like to use their desktops for school, etc and maybe some light fortnite gaming (11700k can hit 90fps on 1080p low) before they get a graphics card, like a 3070 or a 3070 ti.
  7. Hello, I am helping my friend and her brother with building computers. (they will have identical computers), and I am deciding whether the 10700k or the 11700k would be better for their workload, which will be gaming such as Fortnite, R6 Siege, etc. They do not have discrete cards yet, and I know that the 11700k has better onboard graphics, but I am not sure which processor will perform the best with a discrete card. Help is appreciated!
  8. Yes, unless you can find one in stock near MSRP, because prices are dropping rapidly.
  9. @Middcore look at this the 11500 is not a bad place holder till you get a discrete card. but i recommend 5600g first.
  10. get that, if you can find that in stock. backup option would be the intel i5-11500.
  11. 5400g doesn’t exist, and the amd apus are very hard to get for a fair price these days. get an intel 11th gen processor instead like the 11500.
  12. yes because the strix 3070 comes with a 5800x. otherwise they are the same.
