Computer Monitor isn’t displaying

Harrison_Cringe

Hi, my computer monitor isn’t displaying anything through HDMI but is through VGA, I’ve tested the hdmi port on the monitor by plugging in an Xbox into it, and I’ve also tested the hdmi on the motherboard by plugging it into a tv, I am running the latest drivers for AMD and it was working up until 2 days ago, any help would be appreciated. If you need anymore info, I will try to let you know, but I am at school from 8:30am GMT to 3pm GMT

My specs are:

AMD ryzen 3200G(using onboard graphics)

8GB RAM

ASUS A320M motherboard

256GB SSD

2x 1TB HDD

have you tried checking to see if the hdmi has been disabled in bios or if your bios needs an update

And did it work? if you say you tested something it would maybe be a good idea to include the results, its completely unclear at this moment if the monitor is the problem or something else .

I’ll give it a bios update when I get back from school, but I’m assuming it’s a windows problem

sorry for getting back to you so late, sorry to hear that. Are their any lights that could indicate if something was wrong on the board?

Nope nothing. everything works perfectly fine but not the monitor, only on my computer, because I’m able to remote connect into my pc perfectly fine and use different displays. No worries about replying late

bit of a last straw idea, though you could try a cmos reset or a bios flash back
