I9-9900KF with GTX 1070 650W enough ?

Sushi_isla

Soon I will be upgrading my pc by getting a 1070 and an i9-9900KF tho I wonder, will 650W power supply be enough for it or I’ll have to get a better one?

more than enough, as long as it's a good 650w power supply. A crappy one I wouldn't trust.

Wattage and how good a PSU is are not related.  You may want to look at the PSU tierlist to see how “good” your PSU is considered to be.

My memory is 600w was suggested by PCpartPickers engine for machines with 1070 GPUs. One assumes there is some slop in there, so assuming you’re not doing competitive overclocking or anything it should be fine.  You could plug your hardware into PCpartPicker and see what it thinks.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I dunno.  All I do is read the list if it’s on it it’s on it.  If not I personally have no clue. That doesn’t apply to some others though.

The Deepcool DN650 is only +80 white certified.

According to the PSU tier list Deepcool DN650 is very poor and part of PSU category "Tier D • Recommended only for very cheap, iGPU systems".

I would not recommend using this PSU.
