850 W PSU for 5950X and 6900XT Ultimate Red Devil

Drins

Hello!   First post here.  So I recently built a system at the Microcenter in my area.  My system contains the 5950X and the Powercolor 6900XT Ultimate Red Devil.   I am concerned that the 850W Seasonic Titanium is not enough juice for the system as a while under stressed situations.  What are your thoughts on this matter?

Usually it would be dissuaded to use a 850 watt. However since its titianium rated and high wattage power supplies are in scarce supply it will probably work and you will have problems finding any better options

Given that it is a Titanium unit, 750Watt+ should be fine.

So I shouldn’t be worried about potential long-term to the GPU and/or other parts?   From what I’ve been reading (yes, lol internet), low wattage can cause display issues, system shutdowns, etc.

Effiency is not quality. There are some titanium Psus that cannot handle 6900XT in anyway.

Not really.

system shutdowns

These can happen.

Some Seasonic Psus have problem wiht high transient spike and high power gpus liek your 6900XT. I do not know which ones tho.

What exact titanium Seasonic? If it has no problem with 6900XT it will be fine

If it works without shutdowns then there's nothing to be concerned about.

If there is a lot of noise in the sense 12V wire, the PSU will shut down. How do you know? Like the post above said if it shut downs then there is a problem.

That doesn't make sense.  If it's a Gold 750W, it can put out 750W.  If it's a Titanium 750W, it can put out 750W.  All efficiency means is it generates less heat from conversion losses.

You pop the sense wire out of the PSU side of 24-pin cable and see if it doesn't shut down.
