How to native 1440p on 4k OLED? No rescaling

inw90

On a 4k monitor i was able to find a setting on the monitor that forced native resolution. I was able to play 1440p with black bars on top and bottom. Full, crisp 1440p

How to get this on 4k OLED TV? It makes the 1440p full-screen instead of displaying smaller, native 1440p. I have the 55" LG CX OLED and the 1080 Ti.

TVs typically don't have an option not to scale the image to the full panel size.

I can't comprehend why you would want to do this. But I'm pretty sure you can do it in the Nvidia control panel. Look for Adjust Desktop Size and Position.
