Wow... Just wow... thanks for introducing me to this genre, can't say it's something i've come across before, and I'm not a huge fan of Jazz or Hip Hop, but this.... love it! Got me a hooked!

+1, so much awesome in this thread, nice to go back to every now and then since even though I have a majority of these songs they don't get much playtime.

Downsides of large collections is never getting to hear all the good stuff I guess.

I agree, it's nice to have little pockets of peng scattered about the place like the Nujabes thread, I think that's where our music sharing began actually.

 

What do you think about this? I like the beat, the chorus, and the second half with the girl singing but I've listened to it about 6 times now and still can't decide if it's for me.

pretty good, I've listened to some of Chet Faker and some of it is hit or miss for me.

 

This song in particular, I think I liked it a lot more before 1:30. With the kind of dissonance it has going on I think all the extra noises after 1:30 added in there should have been turned down to be a bit quieter, or possibly removed or reduced all together, but that's just me.
