With music like this I wonder how so little people appreciate it. How can you listen to this and not like it? It makes absolutely no sense to me...

I could pretty much say the same thing about bands like Full of Hell, which I doubt most people would even consider music

It's all down to musical taste and the way a person consumes music.

Maybe because it isn't really easy to listen to.

People can say what they want about modern pop singers, but they know how to make a catchy song, that you can have a party to.

With both Tchaikovsky and Fuil of Hell you need really listen to music to figure out why it works as a piece of art. Opposite that is most pop music that can be easily consumed by the vast majority of people.

Understandably, that is not what most people want to do, when they just want to sit down an be entertained.

I would also claim, that the average person will appriciate Tchaikovsky on a purely artistic level. I don't think anyone would deny that Tchaikovsky had a musical talent, eventhough they don't listen to his music.

Why people will automatically say see the talent in Tchaikovsky is another discussion entirely, and proably also and intersting one, but I fear that would be going too off topic.

Here's what I'm listening to

Nova doctrina terribilis sit perdere

Audio format guides: Vinyl records | Cassette tapes

Gundam Unicorn OST:

Actually just discovered this OST a couple days ago, considering watching the anime but I'm not too sure yet, since I was never a big Gundam fan. I watched Seed and Seed Destiny, and the Gundam Wing Endless Waltz movie like six times when I was a kid.
