RGB Controller

DarkMyths

My motherboard has 4 pin 12 volt rgb, my case contains 6 rgb fans and some rgb components itself which are all 5 volt 3 pin rgb.

My CPU cooler has an other 3 pin 5 volt rgb connector which also needs to be connected if possible.
Is there an adapter that can adapt the 4 pin to 3 pin but maintain all possible effects,

or is there a good controller that plugs into an usb header on the motherboard that enables to controll the rgb with other software?

is it true that 12 volt headers can't produce good rainbow effects?

There is no adapter to convert 12V 4 pin to 3pin 5V. The 12V pin does not do the animated effects like the 5V addressable RGB so getting an adapter is not ideal if one does exist.

If your motherboard does not have 5V addressable RGB then you can buy 5V 3pin controller that is wired or wireless remote. I personally think it's best to have it controlled by the motherboard/software incase you decide to go with other addressable RGB accessories that have different amount of LEDs.
