What's the application mentioned for Ryzen at 9:10? I can't find a mention in the description.

But how do i find my bottleneck before buying a bunch of GPU's or CPU's?

I have a Ryzen 7 2700 and a GTX 1080 Ti (Gigabyte gaming OC)

Not that I'm going to upgrade in these times but maybe down the line.

Why didn't ya simply mention that.

CPUs cap your max fps

GPUs cap your resolution/quality settings

and game engines naturally bottleneck too.

Should have ran CS:GO with a 3090 at 480p 50% resolution scale just for fun though too.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

HOW Shadow of The Tombraider is still relevant? I have around 1 year old installation of windows (24/7 on), i have all my normal apps on (about bazilion background apps and least 30 Firefox YouTube tabs), 3 screens (2x 1440p and one 1080p), 0 over clocks and i was streaming 1080p 30fps this benchmark to my friend AND still i bested RTX 3070 with newer processor in 95% by nearly 20fps... WTH have you done to that computer? OR does 16gb more ram make that difference? OR is it just that RTX 3070 can't use any of those new nice algorithms to run this benchmark?

The worst part is when you have a genuine bottleneck and derp on Reddit rationalizes that all PC's have a bottleneck it is not a bottleneck.

Guy has a 4090 with a Phenom II.

😆

5800X 4720mhz fixed OC 6900XT -75mv, 2600mhz 1440P 165hz
