I'm not sure, there's probably plenty of people who probably know, but when in doubt, Consult the manual.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

I don’t recognize it from the photo.  Does it have gunk in it?  A 3/4 view might help.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Where is it connected to?

It looks a lot like a header for a USB C port on a motherboard. This case appears to be an NZXT H510.

Albeit this is probably the worst angle to show it from

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Bit hard to tell with the angle of the photo, but it looks like a USB type c front panel connector.

Would be if it was chipped.  It’s a fair assessment though.  I still think a 3/4 view in addition might help.

Yes indeed, that goes inside a motherboard's USB 3.1 port. What motherboard are you using? Not exactly a universal feature yet, still a bit premium.

Im using a MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max.

Unfortunately that motherboard doesn't have a 3.1 header so you wouldn't be able to plug it in, but you could get an adapter if you really wanted to use the USB C port on the front

Something like this will convert a 3.0 header to a 3.1 header
